The first emergence of the season outside the heated waters at Stapeley comes from Lindow Common (88F SJ833811) where Trisha Thompson found four newly emerged Large Red Damselfly today.

At the Stapeley Water Gardens indooor pool (65Q SJ666513) a female Blue-tailed Damselfly was ovipositing today, reports Bob Bradshaw.

Bob Bradshaw reports further sightings from Stapeley Water Gardens (65Q SJ666513) where he saw a female Blue-tailed Damselfly at the indoor pool and again on 6th April.
