Location Belan, 2nd kiln bank
County Powys
Grid Reference SJ 2176 0533
Date of visit 3 July 2004

This is the southernmost of the two banks of kilns at Belan. It is clear that the kilns in this bank were not all built at the same time. Hughes* suggests that the left hand pair may date from the opening of the canal in the 1790s and the other two soon afterwards.
