| The Ynys Cyngar kiln is thought to have been used by Alexander Madocks to produce lime for mortar whilst building the embankment across the bay of the Traeth Mawr (The Cob) which was completed in 1813. It is situated on the beach in a sheltered position just to the east of the end of Black Rock Sands. | |
