Flintshire Limekilns

Rhes-y-cae kilns, Halkyn Mountain

Limestone is found across wide areas of North Wales and in Flintshire has been particularly worked across Halkyn Mountain and westwards toward Dyserth. There are also extensive workings southwards towards Wrexham.
