The single pot kiln at Wallog is adjacent to the beach, overlooking Cardigan Bay. It is well preserved, although comparison of the images shows that the parapet has long since been removed. The coal and limestone would have been landed on the beach from small sailing vessels and the burnt lime used to improve the local acid soils.
