Limekilns were constructed adjacent to the colliery workings at Denhall Quay on the Dee estuary at Little Neston. Whilst these were probably still in use in the 1870's they are shown as disused by the time of the 1909 25 inches to the mile Ordnance Survey map. Today the site is a private garden where some remains are still to be found.

Thanks to Dan Kemp for bringing these remains to my attention.
