In October 1992 I was lucky enough to make a visit to Northern China to see steam in action at a wide variety of locations. Recently I have scanned some of the images taken on that trip and here is a selection.
In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008 I again visited China in search of steam and a selection of images are also here. The number of locations available may have been reduced, but the action was still plentiful.
